Majdel Balhis is a village and municipality in Rashaya District, Beqaa Governorate, on the western slopes of Mount Hermon. It is about 95 km from Beirut, 45 km from Zahle and 15 km from Rashaya, and stands at roughly 1,100 metres above sea level. Its cadastral area is approximately 20.04 km².
Local agriculture includes cereals, olives, grapes and almonds, reflecting the mountain terrain and climate of this part of Rashaya District.
