Our vision
To become an advanced endowment model that unites authenticity, sustainability and development while contributing to human development and community service.
About us
We care for religious and educational affairs while developing endowment assets in ways that safeguard the trust and serve people and communities throughout Rashaya District.
The Rashaya Endowments Directorate was established by resolution of the Higher Islamic Sharia Council. It works under the supervision of Dar Al-Fatwa in Rashaya District, under the patronage of the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Dr Judge Abdul Latif Derian, with the direct guidance of the Mufti of Rashaya, Professor Sheikh Dr Wafik Mohammad Hijazi, and under the management of Sheikh Dr Hussein Kassem Ahmad.
The Directorate follows the affairs of mosques, imams and muezzins, Quran and Prophetic Sunnah memorisation centres, religious education in schools, educational programmes and community activities.
It also develops endowment properties and investments through an institutional vision that supports sustainability and turns endowment assets into lasting benefit for local communities and future generations.
Message from the Director
We believe that an Islamic endowment is not simply property to be administered. It is a living mission through which generations are nurtured, values are protected, and mosques and communities are served. We therefore seek to revive the role of Awqaf as a pillar of education, development and stability, believing that education and development are two wings of the same bird and that investment in people is no less important than investment in endowment assets.
