Bakka is a highland village and municipality in Rashaya District, Beqaa Governorate. It stands at approximately 1,450–1,480 metres above sea level and is about 85–88 km from Beirut, 42 km from Zahle and 12 km from Rashaya.
Agriculture is an important part of local life. Crops include cereals, particularly wheat and barley, as well as fruit trees, olives and vegetables; livestock is also raised. Local sources note limited Roman remains near the village mosque and traces of an older settlement to the north, locally known as Al-Kharaib.
