Ain Arab on the western slopes of Mount Hermon

Ain Arab is a village and municipality in Rashaya District, Beqaa Governorate, on the western slopes of Mount Hermon in Wadi Al-Taym. It stands at about 1,230 metres above sea level and is approximately 82 km from Beirut, 39 km from Zahle and 16 km from Rashaya.

The village is associated with local springs and mountain agriculture, including grapes, cherries, figs and a range of fruit and vegetable crops. Local sources identify the Al-Khidr shrine, the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle, remains of a historic structure on Qusayr Hill and old watermills in the village valley among its landmarks.
